Plans for the Autumn.....

You probably already know about our very busy events programme - with everything from knitting to tribal bellydance!

Jani has been beavering away in the attic for the past few weeks, finalising the details for our Autumn Programme. She isn't ready to reveal all just yet, but she has dropped some tantalising hints.....

There will be an all new 'Creative Crafty Club' starting on Tuesday 27 September, with taster sessions in all sorts of things, a craft materials swap and time to chat and share ideas.

We're hosting a fundraising Halfa on Saturday 3 September, with Bellydance performances, middle eastern food and lots of music and space to dance.

Art Asia has just confirmed us as one of their venues for '30 Ragas' on Thursday 13 October, with performance and (of course) food to celebrate 30 years of Art Asia.

The final date is yet to be confirmed for the return of our 'Tango café' which this time will also include an afternoon workshop to teach you some moves.

In September, we welcome Melting Pot who will host a jam night for musicians and singers. Join in with some of the best folk and world musicians in the city to make some lovely noise on Friday 2 September from 7.30pm.

A new series of poetry workshops starts in September with 'Sonnets on a Sunday' on Sunday 25 September from 3 - 5pm and we welcome former President of the British Haiku Society, Annie Bachini, on Sunday 4 September for a Haiku Workshop.

These are just a few of the things you can look forward to here at The Art House this Autumn - so we hope to see you very soon!
